1. GDPR Overview

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union and the European Economic Area. It also addresses the transfer of personal data outside the EU and EEA areas.

Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data about you.

Request deletion of your personal data when it's no longer necessary or if you withdraw consent.

Right to Restrict Processing

Request restriction of processing while we verify data accuracy or legal grounds.

Right to Data Portability

Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format and transmit it to another controller.

Right to Object

Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling and direct marketing.

How to Exercise Your Rights: Submit a request to dpo@beetg.com with "GDPR Request" in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

4. Data Retention Periods

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for legal, accounting, or reporting requirements:

5. International Data Transfers

BeeTG is based in Singapore and operates globally. Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

When transferring data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including:

Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): Adopted by the European Commission for data transfers to third countries.
Data Processing Agreements (DPAs): Signed with all third-party processors.
Privacy Shield Framework: For transfers to certified US entities (where applicable).

Data Location: Primary data storage is in Singapore (APAC) and Germany (EU). Backups may be stored in multiple geographic locations with appropriate safeguards.

6. CCPA Compliance (California Residents)

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants California residents specific rights regarding their personal information:

Right to Know: You can request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information. Note: BeeTG does not sell your personal information.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

To exercise your CCPA rights, please contact us at privacy@beetg.com with "CCPA Request" in the subject line. We will verify your identity before processing your request.

7. COPPA Compliance (Children Under 13)

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) imposes requirements on operators of websites or online services directed to children under 13 years of age.

Important Notice: BeeTG is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@beetg.com.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

General Disclaimer: The information provided on BeeTG is for general informational purposes only. While we strive to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of any channels, content, or information contained on the website for any purpose.

You acknowledge and agree that BeeTG shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such third-party websites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BeeTG, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and third-party service providers from and against all losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of these terms or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the Service using your account.

11. Limitation of Liability

Maximum Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall BeeTG's total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service. If no payment has been made, BeeTG's total liability shall be limited to $100 USD.

BeeTG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; or (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Singapore.

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
